Cooperation between İTÜ and St. Petersburg Polytechnic University

A new protocol of educational and scientific cooperation (MoU) has been signed between Istanbul Technical University and Peter The Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU).
A new protocol of educational and scientific cooperation (MoU) has been signed between Istanbul Technical University and Peter The Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU). The protocol, signed by ITU Rector Prof. Mehmet Karaca and SPbPU Rector Prof. Andrei Rudskoi, comprises especially of double master degree programs and educational and research collaboration for a period of five years.

İTÜ has signed a protocol of collaboration with another international institution, adding to those already existing. İTÜ maintains to strengthen its scientific, technical, academic and cultural relations with pioneering universities all over the World. Rector Andrei Rudsko and Rector Mehmet Karaca signed a 5 year-protocol in order to promote educational and scientific relations between two universities.

The activities that will be carried out between both parties in the framework of the protocol are:
  • Development and implementation of joint educational programs including double master degree programs.
  • Collaborative research in the fields of mutual interest in accordance with the funds available
  • Publications of the result of joint research
  • Exchange of scientists and faculty in accordance with requirements accepted in both Universities
  • Participation of the students in summer school programs
  • Other activities of mutual interest
